About Us

Total Pain and Risk Consultants conducts specialized Risk Management Consultations and other services tailored for today's physician offices and healthcare facilities that provide office-based surgery, pain management, dental services and outpatient surgery. This is accomplished by any number of our highly qualified Consultants. Our consultation is focused on promoting the most current standards of practice in accordance with State Regulations and National Accreditation standards.

Our Consultants

Cheryl E. White, RN, BS, MSHL, LNCC, MSCC, LHRM, DFSHRMPS Cheryl E. White has 25 years of extensive risk management and legal nursing experience. She has a Master of Science in Health Law, a BS in Health Care Administration, and over 30 years experience as a registered nurse with an emergency room and critical care background. Cheryl has been a risk manager for three large health care organizations including the University of Colorado Health Sciences, Shriner's Hospital, and Morton Plant Mease Health Care. She also works for the Florida Board of Medicine as an inspector of physician offices seeking licensure in office surgery. She has worked the last 9 years as a legal nurse consultant to a defense firm.		Sheree M. Saroff, RN, BSN, MBA, MSCC, LHRM, CLC Sheree M. Saroff brings over 25 years of risk management, nursing, medical device, and business experience in healthcare systems, physician offices and companies to her clients. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Masters in Business Administration. After working as a registered nurse in critical care and emergency rooms, she worked with medical device companies assisting physicians and nurses with development of new and improved medical devices. These devices were used in most hospital departments and physician offices. Sheree has been a risk manager and worked with physician offices performing audits. In addition, she provides assistance to physician offices that perform Level II and Level III office-based surgery and offices that provide pain management. She also provides medical legal consulting as a legal nurse consultant to attorneys and companies throughout the United States. Sheree combines risk reduction and a medical legal perspective to assist physicians, healthcare systems and companies.

Deanna Pfoff, RN, LHRM Deanna K. Pfoff graduated nursing school in Tampa, FL. She began her career in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit for the first 8 years. She expanded her understanding of healthcare to include ambulatory surgery. Since continuing her career in the ambulatory setting, in an additional 10 years, she has worked her way up to Director of Nursing for one of the largest free-standing multi-specialty surgical centers in the state of Florida. Deanna has also demonstrated her knowledge base by becoming a AAAHC Surveyor. Further, she provides assistance for office-based surgical practices that conduct Level 2 sedation with the preparation for their State Inspections. Deanna has been recognized as an accomplished American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, and BLS Instructor that has lectured across the United States and internationally. Moreover, Deanna has established a stellar reputation for conducting Risk Management Consultations for office-based facilities and ambulatory centers.
